Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cutting-edge libraries, services, and tools to boost our software development teams’ productivity. This covers, among other things, developer-centric dashboards, code review automation, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
• Maintain and upgrade the development environment’s infrastructure on a constant basis to guarantee high availability, scalability, and dependability.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps specialists, software engineers, and quality assurance teams to comprehend their requirements and problem spots, then offer solutions that optimise their productivity.
• Use workflows and automation scripts to boost process efficiency and decrease repetitive, manual operations.
• Track the efficiency and performance of the developer productivity tools and take proactive measures to find and fix problems. Take part in rotating on-call shifts as required.
• To help other team members use and maintain the tools and procedures, provide clear and thorough documentation.
• To suggest and carry out pertinent changes, stay current on market trends and best practices in DevOps, software development, and developer productivity.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Shown expertise as a software engineer with an emphasis on automation, tooling, developer productivity, or software infrastructure.
• Strong programming abilities in Ruby, Java, Go, Python, or other languages.
• Expertise with version control systems, such as Git.
• Outstanding debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• The capacity to operate in an agile, fast-paced development environment.

Preferred skills:

• Proficiency in developing developer tools, such as compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, and test automation frameworks, that enhance developer velocity, code quality, and code health.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Travis CI, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (such as Kubernetes and Docker).
• It is advantageous to know about infrastructure as code (such as Terraform).
