Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a supply chain strategy data analyst on projects involving various product categories and geographical areas as a member of the SCS team.
- To help teams give insights to optimize/improve product development, marketing mix, gross margin, competition insights, and network modelling, data is mined and analysed.
- Understanding data architecture and having experience using Python and SQL to implement ETL pipelines and other data requirements.
- Strong SQL authoring skills for queries, views, or procedures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure’s data lakes and cloud development tools like Data Bricks and Synapse.
- Visualising data and using dashboards.
- Power BI data transformation, dashboarding, and modelling solutions. Knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, and other software would be advantageous.
- Draw data from various internal and external data sources, then clean, convert, and prepare it as needed for projects.
- Help SCS with its initiatives for digitalization and transformation, particularly those involving effective data collecting and automated analytics across programmes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree from a prestigious engineering university.
- Excel, Python, Hive, and SQL are advanced skills needed to edit and analyse data from massive data collections.
- Understanding of storyboard analysis using Power Point
- Experience creating dashboards and complex visualisations in Power BI/Tableau.
- Strong ability to solve problems and communicate.
- Principles and expertise in data warehousing for clouds like Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams, ideally in a multicultural setting.
- Comfortable working remotely across time zones and geographic boundaries.
Preferred skills:
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in IT is preferred.
- Possess a never-ending desire to learn new things and do better at their jobs.
- Possess the intelligence, drive, and fortitude to solve tough issues.
- Possess flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing team priorities.
