Key Responsibilities for Data Analyst:
- Recognise how to present data in a way that is user-friendly and visually pleasing.
- Create simplified data pipelines by combining data from diverse sources, and integrate data from several PayPal systems.
- To support data-driven decision-making, identify critical business levers, establish cause and effect, conduct studies, and convey significant results to diverse stakeholders.
- With teams like Finance, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and top executives, closely collaborate throughout the matrix.
Key Responsibilities for Data Scientist:
- Create standardised reporting for operations monitoring and outbound credit bureaus.
- Analyse prospective new data sources to assist the global portfolios for consumer revolving, global pay later, and global merchant lending.
- Observe trends in both inward and outbound data, look into the effects on business and customers, and give suggestions to the company based on your findings.
- Work with the Credit Data Strategy Owners to analyse problems and fix them using data pulls.
- Take part in Proof-of-Concept activities with the Credit Risk Management team to look for ways to lower data costs and find new data opportunities to improve risk decision-making and generate revenue.
- Own and monitor your primary metrics and objectives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree and above in one of the following: economics, finance, engineering, datasciences, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and computer science principles. demonstrated expertise, comfort, and ability in processing and crunching massive data sets.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with Information Retrieval (search, recommendation, classification) or Human Judgment/User Interface.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to simplify difficult issues and successfully persuade peers and senior leadership.
- Ability to successfully interact with senior executive-level leaders in both written and spoken formats
- A demonstrated capacity for communication with members of the business team as well as developers, quality assurance, and technical project leads.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills.
