Key Responsibilities for Quality Assurance:
- Understanding of basic statistics and distributions/ability to detect patterns in data a plus.
- He/She should be able to identify root cause, work with Support Engineers/Developers to fix errors and prevent recurrence of the identified errors.
- Should be able to analyze and provide objective, actionable feedback based on the trend surfaced.
- Expected to create and maintain process documentations on an ongoing basis. He/She is also expected to mentor and help new recruits to ramp up quickly. Should be willing participator in team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Commitment to meet Deadlines is expected as a behavior. He/She is expected to commit and deliver as expected.
- Should be able to work independently, prioritize & schedule work assignments based on deadlines.
This is an Hybrid Position, which expects candidates to work from office location (3 days/week)
Key Responsibilities for Business Analyst:
- Solve ambiguous problems with less well-defined inputs and outputs; drive to the heart of the problem and identify root causes.
- Identify, develop and execute data analysis to uncover areas of business opportunities.
- Learn and understand the broad range of Amazon’s data resources and develop knowledge of how, when and which data sources to use.
- Deep dive into massive data sets to answer key business questions using SQL, MS Excel and data analytics tools.
- Build new reports/dashboards to enable emerging business use cases 6. Present written recommendations and insights to key stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Bachelors in STEM or other technical fields.
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience with Excel.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and SQL is a must.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to comprehend complex business problems.
Preferred skills:
- Able to write queries using SQL & Macros.
- Experience working with Tableau.
- Experience using very large datasets.
