Key Responsibilities:
- Review and expedite incoming orders to meet customer requests and Emerson service level goals.
- Monitor and update sales order dates and backlog to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate timely and accurate drop shipments from producing factories to specified destinations.
- Expedite documentation submission and prepare certificates of conformance and origins.
- Prepare order acknowledgments, delivery orders, and packing lists for shipments.
- Apply new customer information into the system as per guidelines.
- Prepare sales forecasts and periodic sales reports, monitoring to meet targets.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on inquiries, bookings, backlog, and shipments.
- Answer customer phone calls expertly and consistently.
- Act as a liaison to ensure timely and efficient order administration.
- Resolve issues related to order administration, completion, and post-order activities with internal teams, overseas order administration, factories, suppliers, and customers (e.g., CN, goods return to factory, RMA).
- Communicate and manage the impact of change orders internally and externally.
- Provide timely responses to order inquiries, including pricing, lead times, and order status.
- Acquire an understanding of Emerson Process Management products.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in business administration or international trade is a plus.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Attention to detail, strong work ethic, proactivity, and collaboration skills, with a willingness to interact.
- Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred skills:
- Good knowledge and proven experience in customer contract review and terms and conditions.
