Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit effective, clear, and professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound calls, as well as provide email support in English.
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to Chennai, and be equipped to work remotely within the city limits.
  • Ensure access to fixed-line internet (high-speed broadband) and power backup throughout assigned shift hours.
  • Provide timely and efficient service to Amazon Selling Partners, including appropriately escalating any issues. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, effectively managing sensitive matters.
  • Demonstrate strong time-management skills, working independently while adhering to departmental resources, policies, and procedures.
  • Foster a positive team environment and assist team members with challenging contacts as needed.
  • Maintain satisfactory performance metrics, including quality, productivity, first contact resolution, and attendance.
  • Actively seek solutions using logical reasoning and data interpretation skills, and report trends and improvement suggestions through appropriate channels.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Customer Service, Merchant Investigations, or Payments teams as necessary to resolve Selling Partner issues and inquiries.

  • Possess technical proficiency in computers and internet usage.
  • Advocate for selling partners, driving process and tool improvements.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and strong self-motivation.
  • Demonstrate strong prioritization and time management skills, along with adaptability.
  • Embrace change with flexibility and grace.
  • Respond promptly to contacts with a suitable sense of urgency despite varying workloads.
  • Communicate effectively with a composed and professional demeanor.
  • Maintain an outstanding performance record, particularly in terms of quality and productivity.
  • Desired skill sets include proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox.

Preferred skills:

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment is preferred, with a desire to expand skills into new areas.
  • Possess business acumen in e-commerce and retail sectors.
