Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge, develop, troubleshoot, and debug design environments and workflows for integrated circuit development.
- Provide support to a global design team, troubleshoot common CAD setup issues, collaborate with foundries, configure standard CAD setups for IP project environments, and design workflows.
- Create routines and utility programs to ensure the quality assurance of common CAD setups.
- Design, implement, and deploy new applications for critical R&D productivity initiatives that can be scaled across all Synopsys groups.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new features, refactor existing applications, and address bugs in current applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and offer support for software tools.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possession of a relevant degree in electronic/microelectronic engineering or VLSI.
- Strong understanding of hardware integrated circuits.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux systems as a user.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Ability to utilize scripting languages proficiently to automate various processes.
- Effective English communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience and eagerness to learn and explore new technologies, coupled with strong investigation and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to exercise judgment within established procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
Preferred skills:
- Hands-on experience with Python, TCL, or Shell scripting.
- Solid knowledge of the VLSI domain, including familiarity with DRC/LVS Extraction/Simulation/Reliability Analysis.
- Proficiency in using Cadence, Custom Designer EDA tools.
