Key Responsibilities for Data Scientist:
- Collaborate with global acceptance teams to design, build, and sustain advanced reporting and data visualization features for extensive datasets, facilitating analytical and reporting requirements across various products, markets, and services.
- Translate business needs into concrete solution specifications and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Utilize tools proficiently to manipulate large-scale databases, extracting meaningful insights. Present findings through Tableau/PowerBI dashboards, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Implement quality control measures, data validation, and cleansing processes for both new and existing data sources.
Key Responsibilities for Data Engineer:
- Spearhead the advancement of Data & Services products/platform, emphasizing the impact on data science and engineering.
- Contribute to the development of data and analytic infrastructure for product development.
- Collaborate in identifying and evaluating data elements crucial for delivering analytics in support of product development.
- Constantly innovate and explore new approaches and technologies to address business challenges, generating valuable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with various roles across the organization, including consultants, engineering, and sales, to prioritize and address key business problems.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, with a preference for M.S./M.B.A. qualifications.
- Proficient in data management, data mining, data analytics, data reporting, data product development, and quantitative analysis.
- Preferred experience in Financial Institution or Payments.
- Demonstrated ability to present data findings in a readable and insight-driven format, with expertise in building professional PowerPoint decks.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL coding.
- Experience with Platforms/Environments such as SQL Server, Microsoft BI Stack, Python.
- Background in building data models is a positive.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI, with Tableau Certification considered a plus.
- Exposure to Hadoop environments is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills.
- In-depth technical knowledge, a drive to learn new technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to interact with management, internal stakeholders, and gather requirements.
