Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in data backup software and tools, understanding their features, and selecting appropriate backup solutions based on organizational needs.
• Utilize specialized data recovery software, hardware, and techniques to retrieve lost or deleted data from damaged, corrupted, or malfunctioning laptops, covering various data types such as files, folders, documents, images, and videos. Collaborate with diverse teams to address issues hindering data recovery.
• Respond to ransomware incidents and execute data recovery tasks to retrieve encrypted or locked data from infected laptops. Implement ransomware-specific recovery tools and techniques to restore files to their original state.
• Interact with clients, providing regular updates on the progress of data recovery efforts and explaining technical aspects clearly and concisely.
• Maintain detailed records of data recovery procedures, including diagnostic reports, recovery methods used, and final results, for internal reference and documentation requirements.
• Contribute to a service focused on ransomware recovery and data backup strategies, playing a crucial role in salvaging valuable data during ransomware attacks, ensuring data integrity, and providing essential support in challenging situations.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the fields of standards, roadmaps, and/or end-user computing, with specific expertise in Global organizations like Deloitte.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or substantial experience in a similar role within a Global organization like Deloitte.
• Demonstrated experience in laptop data recovery, handling diverse data loss scenarios, including ransomware incidents.
• Previous work experience in computer repair, IT support, or cybersecurity is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose complex laptop issues and implement effective solutions for successful data recovery, particularly in the aftermath of ransomware attacks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction, clear explanation of technical concepts, and guidance on ransomware prevention measures.
• Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining the confidentiality of recovered data, especially in sensitive ransomware recovery cases.
• Capability to manage various laptop models and operating systems, adapting to new data recovery and ransomware recovery techniques as technology evolves.
• Effective task prioritization and deadline management in a fast-paced environment, especially when dealing with time-sensitive ransomware incidents.
• Expert knowledge of Windows technologies, roadmaps, and their application to a Global organization such as Deloitte.
• Proven ability to develop strategy and collaborate across stakeholders to gain consensus.

Preferred skills:

• Previous experience in organizations of a similar caliber, such as “Big 4,” or specialized expertise in a specific industry.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft 365 and Druva technologies.
