Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize data analysis and statistical methods to devise solutions aimed at enhancing the customer experience and providing guidance for business decision making.
- Identify factors and underlying causes of business-related issues and introduce innovative approaches for forecasting and prediction.
- Identify, create, oversee, and carry out analyses to unveil potential areas for improvement and present well-documented business recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with multiple teams in a leadership role for quantitative analysis, ensuring the use of the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity in solution development.
- Analyze and address business problems at their core, aiming for root-cause solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrated track record of delivering substantial analytical solutions that have a measurable impact on business outcomes.
- Proficiency in utilizing R, SAS, MATLAB, and SQL for data analysis.
- Profound expertise in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong command of Excel.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a genuine enthusiasm for working with large datasets.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective data presentation.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Preferred skills:
- A Master’s degree or an equivalent advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related technical field. Practical experience and project-based learning in computer science, engineering, or mathematics is highly valued.
- Academic experience in data manipulation, model selection, model training, cross-validation, and large-scale deployment.
- Academic or project experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks like MXNet, TensorFlow, Caffe, and PyTorch.
- Academic exposure to Big Data platforms such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
- Proficiency in data processing using Python, R, and SQL.
- Familiarity with AWS services related to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with a particular emphasis on Amazon EMR, AWS Lambda, SageMaker, Machine Learning, IoT, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2 Container Service, Green Grass, and similar technologies is highly desirable.
