Key Responsibilities:
- Observe all applicable rules and regulations as well as the principles outlined in the J&J Credo.
- Accountable for the Procurement Accounting process area’s daily operations and accounting implementation.
- Executing financial quarters on time, in accordance with SLA obligations, and in accordance with the closure schedule while strictly adhering to Compliance, Internal Audit, and SOX regulations.
- Responsible for the validity, completeness, and accuracy of the reported actuals within the scope of the process or entity.
- Deep knowledge, thorough understanding of the Worldwide Procedures, and compliance standards for the relevant sectors.
- To reduce open items, balance sheet reconciliations should be regularly prioritised.
- Providing new team members and BPO partners with on-the-job training.
- As you carry out the necessary tasks, provide assistance to auditors and legal authorities.
- Recognise, uphold, and put into practise global policies and processes. Determine compliance risks and provide remedies.
- To receive “adequate” ratings from internal and external audits, make sure robust internal controls are in place.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting, finance, or related business subject area.
- CPA, CMA, MBA, and/or other financial certifications are preferred.
- At least 0-2 years of professional experience is required.
Preferred skills:
- Experience working at a BPO or multinational corporation’s shared services centre.
- Experience working with a major, multi-state company’s procurement, accounts payable, invoice processing, payments, and GRIR reconciliation.
- Possess the ability to navigate uncertainty and dynamic situations while taking a practical approach.
- Manage numerous priorities successfully, be incredibly organised, and produce quality work under time constraints.
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting.
- Capability for digital/intelligent automation.
