Key Responsibilities:
- Utilising React, create and maintain online applications.
- Create useful apps by working together with product managers, designers, and other developers to create the project requirements.
- Prototype ideas quickly and iterate via proof-of-concepts to get user feedback and validate concepts.
- Investigate and integrate AI features into web applications.
- contribute to the incorporation of 3D models, animations, and visual effects into web applications for AR/VR experiences.
- Enhance application responsiveness and performance across a range of screens and devices.
- Write clear, efficient, and maintainable code by adhering to industry standards and best practises.
- Conduct code reviews and give team members constructive criticism.
- Improve application speed and user experience by troubleshooting problems, tracking down causes, and coming up with remedies.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Expertise developing web applications with React, NextJs, and other JS frameworks.
- Ability to proof-of-concept prototype quickly and iterate.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to function well in a team context.
- Working knowledge of databases as services, such as Firebase, Supabse, etc.
- excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- RESTful services and OpenAPI knowledge are advantages.
- Possess solid expertise in Agile software development and its supporting best practises: Pair programming, BDD, TDD, etc.
Preferred skills:
- An interest in learning about and using AI technologies, as well as some exposure to AI principles.
- Having some experience building 3D worlds and having a fundamental knowledge of AR/VR development.
- Some unity, unreal or equivalent understanding.
- A great advantage would be involvement in hackathons or making contributions to open-source projects.
