Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications using Selenium WebDriver, TestCafe, and Java.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story discussions to understand requirements and define appropriate test scenarios.
- Design and develop automated test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and identify potential issues.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects until resolution.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and improve overall product quality.
- Enhance automation frameworks and optimize test suites to improve testing efficiency and reliability.
- Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating and maintaining automated tests.
- Review test scripts and participate in peer reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and maintainability.
- Create and maintain test documentation, test cases, execution reports, and automation reports.
- Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies to improve automation practices.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestCafe, Java, TypeScript, and Q-Test.
- Understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and the software defect lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate updates, technical issues, and resolutions effectively to customers and other stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional Agile teams.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong interest in test automation.
- Exposure to testing frameworks and build tools such as TestNG, JUnit, Maven, or Gradle.
- Understanding of REST APIs and API testing concepts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development practices.
- Exposure to industrial automation, cloud technologies, or enterprise software products.
- Strong commitment to software quality and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
