Key Responsibilities:
- Own the functionality, performance, scalability, and data management capabilities of the data plane.
- Manage features throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Design, develop, and operate cloud-native services using containers, microservices, distributed systems principles, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Promote engineering excellence through automated testing, code reviews, operational readiness assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across storage, networking, cloud infrastructure, security, observability, and customer-facing applications.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure technical excellence and adherence to engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements to system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with product managers, architects, and partner teams to translate customer and business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts, design trade-offs, and project status effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
- Support the technical growth of team members through knowledge sharing, code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in a relevant discipline, with 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python for test automation, validation frameworks, tooling, CI/CD integration, or operational automation.
- Familiarity with programming languages and technologies such as C/C++, React, TypeScript, or C# to work across existing service components and user-facing workflows is desirable.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and implementing service-to-service integrations.
- Experience in designing, deploying, and operating microservices-based applications using Kubernetes, containerization, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of software quality practices, including automated testing, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, telemetry, and operational excellence practices.
- Knowledge of building and operating cloud-native distributed systems on platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong ability and willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving technical requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
