Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Letter of Credit (LC) transactions, including export and import LCs, collections, and bank guarantees.
- Scrutinize and review LC transactions, including advising, issuance, amendments, negotiation, and settlement.
- Process import and export collection transactions accurately and within defined timelines.
- Handle LC transfers, confirmations, and various trade finance activities, including LC forfaiting, LC discounting, Trust Receipt Loans, and foreign exchange (FX) loan booking and settlement related to L/C and D/C financing.
- Process high-priority transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and sanctions-related guidelines.
- Handle and process various types of SWIFT messages related to trade finance transactions.
- Process bank guarantee transactions, including issuance, amendments, advising, claims, booking-off, and commission collection.
- Complete assigned workflows on a daily basis and escalate pending transactions to the Senior Analyst or Lead with appropriate and updated reasons.
- Process transactions within the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) defined by the client.
- Raise technical queries and discrepancies with the Senior Analyst or Lead and process transactions in accordance with the instructions provided.
- Communicate updates regarding operational procedures and special practices to the Senior Analyst or Lead.
- Support the Senior Analyst or Lead in maintaining and regularly updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Act as a backup for the Senior Analyst or Lead whenever required to ensure business continuity.
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of trade finance products, processes, and procedures.
- Develop knowledge and proficiency in additional trade finance products and processes.
- Attend all team training sessions related to process updates, procedural changes, and operational requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates who graduated in 2024 or 2025 with no academic backlogs are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must hold a B.Com, BBA, or B.A. degree.
- Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak French and should hold a B1 or B2 level French language certification.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 70% across Class 10, Class 12, and graduation.
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Possess basic knowledge of Trade Finance Operations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in office automation tools, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables.
- Possess intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate proficiency in French, including the ability to read, write, and speak the language.
Behavioral Competencies:
- Willingness to work in various shifts, particularly shifts aligned with European working hours.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess strong analytical skills with a process-oriented approach to work.
