Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the support process and ensure all support requests are handled in accordance with established procedures.
  • Utilize service assurance tools and software to investigate and diagnose issues, collect performance metrics, and generate reports.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues by following established support procedures.
  • Perform scheduled system maintenance tasks to ensure service reliability and availability.
  • Utilize knowledge base articles for incident diagnosis and resolution, and contribute to updating documentation as needed.
  • Monitor service delivery against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain accurate records of service performance.
  • Analyze service performance data against agreed service levels and recommend or initiate actions to improve service quality.
  • Prioritize, classify, and diagnose incidents in accordance with defined incident management procedures.
  • Investigate the root causes of incidents and implement appropriate resolution measures.
  • Escalate unresolved incidents to the appropriate support teams and track them through to resolution.
  • Provide service restoration and recovery activities following incident resolution.
  • Document, update, and formally close resolved incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, secure, and up-to-date Configuration Items (CIs) within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Apply configuration management tools, techniques, and processes to track, maintain, and safeguard configuration assets from unauthorized changes.
  • Perform remote investigations to identify root causes of incidents and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain expertise in assigned technical domains and provide specialized guidance on their effective application.
  • Ensure timely and comprehensive incident resolution by coordinating repair activities and collaborating with internal support teams.
  • Provide regular updates and continuous communication to clients and stakeholders through designated systems, portals, and ticketing tools.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and errors before or during service disruptions.
  • Log incidents accurately and promptly, ensuring all required information is captured in accordance with support standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, vendors, and service providers to expedite issue diagnosis and achieve timely resolution.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computing, or a related field.
  • Possess associate-level certifications in networking technologies, such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, or equivalent.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of technical documentation and documentation standards.
  • Possess knowledge of management agent concepts, redundancy concepts, and remote console architecture within the supported technical domain.
  • Have knowledge of networking technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Riverbed, and similar platforms.
  • Exhibit a customer-focused mindset with proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with a self-motivated and well-organized approach to work.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Apply strong analytical and logical thinking skills to resolve technical issues.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrate entry-level experience with networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless networking, SDI distribution, and core and access layer architectures.
  • Possess entry-level experience in providing technical support to clients.
  • Have entry-level experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Demonstrate entry-level experience in delivering remote support for networking technologies.
  • Possess entry-level experience working with relevant networking technologies.
