Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Create, maintain, and enhance test automation scripts using Python or similar programming languages.
- Analyze test results to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance gaps, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Reproduce customer-reported and system-related issues in controlled laboratory environments for effective troubleshooting and validation.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of testbeds and lab environments, including routers, switches, and access points.
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Copilot and Cursor to improve testing efficiency, automation capabilities, and overall productivity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing principles.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong curiosity for troubleshooting and understanding system behavior.
- Interest in AI-enabled engineering practices and leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to networking devices such as routers, switches, and access points through academic projects, laboratory work, or internships.
- Familiarity with setting up and managing small-scale network environments.
- Basic understanding of wireless networking technologies, including Wi-Fi and IEEE 802.11 standards.
- CCNA certification or active pursuit of the certification is preferred.
