Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and security teams to integrate security best practices throughout the Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to support the organization’s DevSecOps initiatives.
- Enforce security and compliance standards through policy-as-code implementation across development and deployment environments.
- Support vulnerability management activities by identifying, assessing, and assisting in the remediation of security vulnerabilities across the SaaS product portfolio.
- Contribute as a hands-on technical member of the DevSecOps team to strengthen application and infrastructure security practices.
- Ensure secure development methodologies are consistently followed across all stages of the software delivery lifecycle.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess 0–3 years of experience in DevSecOps and application security, including internships or academic project experience.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, along with an understanding of security misconfiguration risks.
- Have exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or similar container technologies, including their associated security considerations.
- Maintain a basic understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, common CVEs, and secure coding principles.
Preferred Skills:
- Have experience working with static and dynamic application security testing tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, Trivy, or Checkov.
- Possess knowledge of secret management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
- Demonstrate scripting skills in Python or Shell for automating security checks and remediation workflows.
- Be familiar with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Ansible, including the integration of security gates into deployment pipelines.
- Have exposure to AWS cloud security concepts, including IAM least privilege, Security Groups, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty.
- Hold or be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Show willingness to pursue industry-recognized security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CKS, or CompTIA Security+.
- Possess experience in Python or other programming languages for security automation and development tasks.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of AWS Infrastructure and cloud environment management.
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline optimization and automation.
- Hands-on experience in DevOps implementation and deployment practices.
- Proficiency in GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflow automation.
