Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop locomotive control system algorithms on real-time embedded system platforms, including control system modeling for engine, propulsion, auxiliary systems, drive control, integration, and train control.
- Perform product verification through testing in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environment prior to product validation.
- Participate in product conceptual design and conduct concept trade-off analysis.
- Collaborate with locomotive system, sub-system, and component teams to define and document requirements and interfaces.
- Develop robust design solutions that meet cost, performance, and reliability targets.
- Conduct simulations and testing in HIL setups, and perform locomotive testing to validate designs as part of engineering validation and product acceptance.
- Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles while adhering to business standards, practices, and program requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to achieve project objectives effectively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong and proven academic track record.
- Educational background in Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering with specialization in areas such as Real-Time Control Systems, Power Electronics, Communications and Networking, Electric Machines, or Hardware Design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information.
