Key Responsibilities:
- Inform product strategy by delivering deep insights into product performance through cross-functional collaboration and compelling, data-driven storytelling.
- Build strong, collaborative, and consultative partnerships with data consumers and data partners across multiple disciplines.
- Define, develop, and continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Automate reporting processes and enable self-service data exploration capabilities for stakeholders.
- Present actionable insights and key learnings to senior stakeholders and executives, driving accountability for decisions, actions, and measurable business impact.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field; or
- Hold a Master’s degree in one of the above disciplines with at least 1 year of data science or consulting experience, including managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques, and reporting results; or
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in one of the above disciplines with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on data science experience, including data management, statistical analysis, and result reporting; or
- Possess equivalent professional experience demonstrating comparable expertise.
Other Requirements:
- Meet all Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements applicable to the role.
- Successfully complete the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer, with renewal every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have at least 3 years of experience manipulating and analyzing complex, high-dimensional datasets from multiple data sources to solve challenging business or technical problems.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate complex quantitative analyses in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to diverse stakeholders.
- Exhibit strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Possess working knowledge of one or more of the following technologies or related tools: SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Office, C#, and statistical methods.
- Have experience with cloud-based architectures or platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
