Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement application logic for a multi-component application ecosystem.
- Ensure the final product meets high standards of performance, responsiveness, and overall quality.
- Deliver high-quality, defect-free code within established timelines, with minimal production issues or failures.
- Ensure all newly developed logic meets or exceeds existing unit test coverage standards.
- Maintain code quality by following best practices and supporting test automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with testing teams to remediate defects, clarify issues, and assist with automation-related tasks as required.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented design principles and programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Java and modern frameworks including Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of persistence and database technologies such as Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, RDBMS, PL/SQL, and JDBC.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React.js and/or Angular is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, along with Sonar integration for code quality analysis.
- Experience working with application servers such as Apache Tomcat.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
- Experience in delivering secure and compliant solutions within the Financial Services domain is an added advantage.
- Advanced understanding of software engineering concepts, design patterns, and development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong collaboration and organizational abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools while managing multiple concurrent tasks.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced and evolving work environments.
