Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business needs and technology solutions to ensure effective problem resolution.
- Analyze, translate, and resolve business problems through the application of appropriate technology solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and apply best-practice methodologies to gather business requirements and define solutions addressing business, process, information, and system improvements or changes.
- Deliver business projects in alignment with sponsor expectations and enterprise architecture standards.
- Proactively design, develop, and deploy enhanced services and platforms, covering all functional aspects from service or product definition through build and deployment.
- Identify and document operational gaps, including the creation of user guides, templates, test cases, and supporting user training materials.
- Support the resolution of service-related issues and incidents.
- Ensure adherence to established development, support, and governance processes.
- Communicate risks, issues, or delivery constraints in a timely manner, escalating when necessary to ensure resolution.
- Take ownership of assigned project deliverables and ensure completion with minimal supervision.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Project management certification is desirable.
- Professional certification in Business Analysis (e.g., IIBA) is preferred.
- Active IIBA membership is required.
- Relevant technology certifications, such as ITIL, are required.
Required Skills:
- Strong and proven understanding of business practices and operational processes.
- A collaborative team player with a strong client service orientation and well-developed administrative and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing specific systems, processes, and technologies relevant to the role.
- High attention to detail with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of process mapping methodologies and supporting technologies.
- Ability to build rapport and engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and operational deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Excellent documentation skills, including functional requirements, test cases, system user documentation, process and procedure documentation, and presentations.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Familiarity with enterprise service management and business systems such as ServiceNow, Siebel, Remedy, SAP, and EMS is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and the use of ITIL tools within a service integration environment.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within a technology services environment.
- Prior experience as a system administrator or software developer is advantageous.
- Strong experience across all operational aspects of a services-based organization, preferably within a systems integrator.
- Proven experience in business requirements gathering, use case development, process mapping, and the implementation of new services and systems.
