Key Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Software Engineering division, apply foundational knowledge of cloud-based software architecture to develop, debug, and design software applications or operating systems in accordance with defined design specifications.
- Design and implement enhancements within existing software architectures to improve functionality and performance.
- Build and maintain automation, integration, and continuously delivered software solutions.
- Implement and manage modern configuration management practices to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Manage workflows across multiple projects and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
- Develop and enhance automation to enable seamless integration across various DevOps tools.
- Strengthen and extend automated CI/CD pipelines by introducing new automation capabilities.
- Implement Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) support for SDaaS services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to applications, workflows, and development tools.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong working knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments, Python programming, Shell scripting, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps toolchains, including Git, Jenkins, code and artifact scanning tools, monitoring solutions, Artifactory, and JIRA.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile and Lean methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
Required Skills:
- Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD automation pipelines.
- Proficiency in GitLab for source code management.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins for build and deployment automation.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of Linux-based software systems.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Podman.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and application development.
- Understanding of software application development design principles.
