Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with customers and market experts to define product capabilities required for customer success and alignment with overall business strategy.
- Partner with peer product managers to define and execute product and business strategies across the IBM Software product portfolio, with the goal of achieving revenue targets and increasing market share.
- Work closely with design teams to conceptualize intuitive and engaging user experiences through clear narratives and well-defined requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to document requirements, groom and prioritize the product backlog, forecast releases, plan iterations, and deliver high-quality products to end users.
- Develop and deliver effective product demonstrations to support sellers, sales engineers, and client technical professionals.
- Work cross-functionally with client technical professionals, sellers, customer success managers, Expert Labs, technology partners, and business partners to ensure successful product adoption and delivery.
- Thrive in a high-performance environment while fostering the same culture across peer groups and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate a strong passion for product design and user experience, with a focus on delivering features with minimal complexity.
- Break down high-level initiatives into clear, actionable work items that can be delivered efficiently through the Product Development Life Cycle.
- Effectively manage work prioritization and product backlogs to maximize business value and delivery outcomes.
- Act as a steward of processes and best practices, applying them pragmatically to enhance business value and team productivity rather than enforcing rigid conformity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree/ MBA
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Currently pursuing an MBA from a reputed business school.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Possess a good understanding of product roadmaps, end-to-end product lifecycles, release cadences, and post-release support processes.
- Have experience with customer-driven usability practices and hypothesis-based experimentation methodologies.
- Exhibit a strong passion for innovation and the ability to create data-driven, evidence-backed solutions.
