Key Responsibilities:
- Build high-performance, scalable APIs that integrate with both documented and undocumented banking interfaces.
- Co-develop features and integrations alongside GenAI agents to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality.
- Operate within a true DevOps model by owning the build, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based services.
- Continuously experiment with Visa’s portfolio of Generative AI models—including transformers, LLMs, GANs, VAEs, and multimodal models—and apply cutting-edge AI tools for innovation and production.
- Deliver new features on a rapid release cadence, often within a few days.
What You Will Do:
AI-Powered Development
- Collaborate with GenAI agents for code generation, refactoring, and automated testing.
- Utilize Visa’s AI sandbox to explore multiple GenAI models and frameworks for employee-driven innovation.
Open Banking Integrations
- Develop components that integrate with banking APIs to aggregate and enrich consumer financial data.
- Support high-load systems with strict uptime and performance requirements.
- Work with Visa’s Tink technology stack, including Java, Node.js, JavaScript, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, Datadog, and related tools.
Cloud-Native DevOps
- Manage end-to-end delivery by building, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining services in AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated observability using Datadog and associated tooling.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability and operational excellence.
Collaboration
- Work closely with like-minded engineers in an AI-first environment, sharing insights and learnings gained from model experimentation.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a Master’s degree with 12–24 months of software development experience.
- Proven experience working with Java technologies.
- Experience with Generative AI, including understanding and applying NLP, multimodal AI, and AI-powered developer tools in production systems.
- Exposure to prompt engineering and orchestration tools for AI agents in enterprise environments, ensuring reproducibility and compliance.
- Experience with cloud-native DevOps, including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience working in agile, product-centric environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Operational excellence and incident response experience.
- Experience with financial API integrations.
