Key Responsibilities:
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired processes or systems.
- Identify root causes of issues and escalate risks and concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Liaise with stakeholders and team members across multiple locations and time zones to ensure effective collaboration.
- Serve as a key link between Finance and Product teams to deliver solutions that support business requirements.
- Support the integration of new business initiatives by translating business objectives into detailed functional and technical requirements for engineers to build finance applications.
- Document the end-to-end delivery process of new applications and features into playbooks to maximise repeatability and scalability.
- Build and maintain strong, genuine relationships with product teams to enable effective partnership and delivery.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You should have extensive experience in project change and business analysis, with exposure to both tactical and strategic solutions preferred.
- You should be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified.
- You should have strong data analysis skills, with the ability to write queries for data analysis, data interrogation, and report design.
- You should have a detailed understanding of banking IT systems, including trade and transaction processing workflows from trade or transaction booking through to general ledger (GL) entries.
- You should be able to work independently with minimal need for guidance or supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- It is desirable to have intermediate proficiency in SQL.
