Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and maintain accurate, complete, and timely ESG data sets, taking into account the global interests and needs of internal and external business divisions.
- Work closely with the ESG data operations team and management on various initiatives related to ESG data processes and improvements.
- Collect, standardize, and validate data on business relationships, competitors, and products and services from companies’ published reports.
- Achieve predefined individual and team targets while ensuring high quality and excellence in all deliverables.
- Operate within defined parameters and under supervision to meet established quality and performance standards.
- Stay up to date with relevant content sets and build industry knowledge by tracking industry trends and ESG reporting standards.
- Contribute ideas and feedback for new data collection methods and product enhancements related to ESG data processes.
- Collaborate with a diverse, cross-location team to promote best practices in data collection and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide support to team members as needed.
- Utilize knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Python, or similar tools as an added advantage in performing responsibilities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 0–2 years of experience in ESG secondary research is preferred.
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree such as B.Com (H), M.Com, PGDM, or MBA (any stream) with Environmental Science, Finance, or Accountancy as a major subject.
- Proficiency in web browsing and Microsoft applications, including the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and deliver under stringent deadlines.
- An inquisitive and investigative mindset.
- A positive attitude, strong interest in research, flair for writing, and keen eye for detail.
- Ability to interact effectively at multiple organizational levels and handle issues in a mature and professional manner.
Skills:
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability research and/or ESG.
- Prior knowledge or work experience with ESG data, especially related to the Environmental pillar, is a strong advantage.
- Detail-oriented and numerically proficient, with a habit of reading and comprehending complex documents.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, with the ability to multi-task and collaborate in a team environment while managing a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
- Good reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and a persistent, diligent approach to work.
- Experience in planning and executing work assignments under tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a diverse international team.
