Key Responsibilities:
- Clarify requirements and technical documentation for rolling stock spare parts related to fire protection and special manufacturing processes (e.g., welding, bonding) in coordination with internal and external suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with technical experts, design engineers, and quality representatives to ensure alignment on specifications and standards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proven, in-depth knowledge of railway industry standards, including:
- Fire protection (particularly EN 45545)
- Welding processes (particularly EN 15085)
- Bonding procedures (particularly EN 17460)
- Strong fundamental understanding of rail vehicle construction and architecture.
- Business-fluent in English (written and verbal) with a good working knowledge of German.
- Background in rail vehicle spare parts management, maintenance operations, or rolling stock engineering.
- Experience in representing service requirements to suppliers and design teams.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering quality-focused projects and managing deadlines effectively.
- Strong ability to clearly communicate service requirements to diverse stakeholders.
- High level of excellence in quality assurance and time management.
- Proficiency in adapting quickly to new digital tools and systems.
- Outstanding team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
