Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, evaluate, and test big data solutions to meet business and client requirements.
- Design, build, optimize, and support new and existing data models and ETL processes aligned with client objectives.
- Create and manage data pipelines and workflows to enable seamless data flow from source to target systems.
- Build, deploy, and maintain scalable data infrastructure to support the needs of a rapidly growing data-driven organization.
- Ensure secure and efficient data access by coordinating data availability and permissions, enabling data scientists and analysts to retrieve data as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data engineering solutions that address client challenges effectively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio graphs to perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations from multiple data sources to various target systems.
- Implement robust data quality and validation processes within Ab Initio to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into effective ETL workflows.
- Perform data modeling and analysis to ensure optimal ETL design, performance, and scalability.
- Utilize key Ab Initio components such as Transform Functions, Rollup, Join, Normalize, and others to build efficient and reusable data integration solutions.
- Apply best practices in developing reusable and maintainable Ab Initio components.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Optimize Ab Initio graphs for performance to ensure efficient data processing and minimal resource utilization; perform tuning and troubleshooting as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, database administrators, and quality assurance teams, to ensure seamless ETL integration.
- Participate in design and code reviews, providing technical expertise to enhance overall solution quality.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and performance enhancements.
