Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional Amazon teams to conceptualize, design, and launch innovative products and services in the market.
- Design and develop cutting-edge technologies within large-scale distributed computing environments, driving transformative changes across the industry.
- Develop scalable solutions for running predictions on distributed systems, leveraging advanced technologies operating at high speed and scale.
- Build and maintain distributed storage, indexing, and querying systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, cost-efficient, and user-friendly.
- Design and implement effective solutions by tackling complex, broadly defined problems with a structured approach.
- Work within an agile development framework to deliver robust, high-quality, and efficient software solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of core Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience through technical internships or similar hands-on projects.
- Knowledge and experience working with distributed and multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with optimization techniques, including linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
- Strong ability to clearly articulate technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Capability to manage ambiguous or undefined problems with an aptitude for abstract and analytical thinking.
