Role and Responsibilities:
- As a Software Developer, you will be involved in multiple aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and support.
- You will develop software that supports clients in their hybrid-cloud and AI transformation journeys while ensuring applications are high-performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analytical Problem-Solving and Solution Enhancement: Analyze, validate, and recommend improvements for existing issues in collaboration with architects and technical leaders.
- End-to-End Process Engagement: Participate in all phases of the software development process, including design, development, testing, release, and troubleshooting, while delivering excellent customer service.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Innovative Coding: Engage in key discussions with stakeholders, evaluate the current system landscape, and design creative coding solutions to meet evolving needs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
- No active backlogs at the time of application.
- This is an entry-level on-campus hiring position; candidates must be in their final year of education and should obtain their degree before starting employment with IBM.
- Year of graduation: 2026.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science (including specializations such as CSE, AIML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, CSBS, IoT, Robotics, AI, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, etc.) or Information Technology, with a minimum of 6 CGPA or 60%.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Engineering background with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Flexibility to work from any location within India.
