Key Responsibilities:
- Write new software code and modify existing applications or modules based on written specifications.
- Develop and integrate applications in alignment with technical requirements and design documentation.
- Perform unit testing to ensure applications meet client and business requirements.
- Translate technical requirements and design documents into functional application code.
- Provide technical support to operations or development teams as needed.
- Contribute to and maintain technical documentation and manuals for assigned components to ensure ongoing supportability.
- Perform maintenance tasks on existing software products and implement straightforward software enhancements under direct supervision.
- Suggest problem resolutions or software improvements, typically reviewed by senior developers.
- Implement solutions in accordance with standards and under guidance from senior engineers.
- Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements.
- Focus primarily on a single project at a time or contribute to multiple projects as part of a specialist team.
- Work on smaller or less complex projects, or on specific systems and applications requiring specialized technical expertise.
- Provide regular status updates for assigned scope of work within projects.
- Participate in internal team meetings and status update discussions.
- Follow disciplined software development processes, adhering to industry standards and best practice guidelines.
