Key Responsibilities:
- Code and develop enhancements, updates, and modifications for parts and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and internet-related tools.
- Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code, identifying, logging, and debugging issues as required.
- Develop a sound understanding of and maintain relationships with internal and outsourced development partners involved in software systems design and development.
- Participate as a member of a project team, collaborating with other software systems engineers and internal or outsourced development partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typically 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Practical experience or understanding of software systems design tools and programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of designing software systems that run on multiple platform types.
- Familiarity with fundamental testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English and the local language.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of cloud architectures.
- Understanding of cross-domain concepts and design thinking principles.
- Solid grasp of software development fundamentals and DevOps practices.
- Awareness of distributed computing and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with full stack development.
- A security-first mindset when designing and developing solutions.
- Ability to contribute to solutions design and system architecture.
- Understanding of testing and automation practices.
- Awareness of User Experience (UX) principles.
