Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions to meet end-user requirements.
  • Ensure that applications integrate effectively with the overall system architecture, using standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools.
  • Develop algorithms, data and process models, and plan interfaces; create interface control documents for solutions of low to moderate complexity.
  • Synthesize software architectures and designs that align with specified requirements, characteristics, and constraints.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, when interacting with peers and customers.
  • Work collaboratively with team members as well as independently when required.
  • Contribute as part of an inclusive team of skilled and motivated colleagues to deliver results.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and self-motivation in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and project requirements as needed.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree with typically 1+ years of related work experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Python for full stack development, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services such as FastAPI and Flask.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM and Computer Aided Geometric Design (CAGD).
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Ability to develop new software solutions to enable the launch of new products, features, and services using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Knowledge of ALM tools, including GitLab, PIP, and Docker.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a globally distributed team.
  • Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Basic familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong eye for user-focused design and UI/UX principles.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, Tanzu, and SonarQube.
  • Knowledge of automation practices.
  • Academic background or work experience in the aerospace domain is a strong advantage.
