Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, system, and regression testing.
- Review and validate test plans, test procedures, and testing infrastructure to ensure they are complete and accurate.
- Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts using JavaScript and/or Python for efficient and scalable testing.
- Integrate automated test suites into the continuous integration and regression testing pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to align testing strategies with real-world customer use cases and deployment scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Contribute to improving overall test coverage, quality processes, and QA best practices.
- Work with the product documentation team to create and maintain user-facing documentation and technical content.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript.
- Practical experience working with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Robot.
- Knowledge of Linux, as well as container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with EMS/NMS products.
- Knowledge of network management protocols such as SNMP, gNMI, NETCONF/YANG, and familiarity with networking technologies like IP/MPLS.
