Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the TAS business team to understand and define reporting, analysis, and process enhancement requirements.
- Design, create, and test reports using SQL, SSRS, Tableau, and Excel.
- Design, build, test, and maintain Microsoft Access databases.
- Design, build, test, and maintain SSIS packages and VBA scripts.
- Develop and maintain complex T-SQL stored procedures.
- Review existing processes and implement improvements where needed.
- Provide day-to-day support for internal and client users of TAS analytics applications.
- Support fellow analysts, client services teams, and the wider business on an ongoing basis.
- Deliver innovative design and implementation for new TAS projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Set up and maintain automated data processes.
- Monitor and audit data quality for existing processes.
- Develop and support reporting processes and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders using business analytics and reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automate processes.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills to support and develop business-critical applications.
- Be open to taking on challenges and providing solutions for business-critical requirements.
- Understand and document business requirements effectively.
- Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present findings clearly to management using reporting tools; strong SQL skills required.
- Communicate effectively, with strong verbal skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Apply strong analytical thinking to define business problems, gather and analyze data, establish facts, and propose solutions.
- Show a strong interest in understanding and working closely with the business.
- Be proactive and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Pay close attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
- Take ownership of problems and follow through diligently to resolution.
- Demonstrate multi-year experience developing solutions using technologies and platforms such as:
- MS Excel
- MS Access/VBA
- Sybase / MS SQL Server SQL
- SSRS, SSIS
- Tableau
- Microsoft Power tools (nice to have)
- Have a proven track record of delivering small- to medium-sized multi-user business solutions.
- Hold a BS or higher degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics.
