Key Responsibilities:
- Define test strategy, build test plans, create test cases, estimate effort, and design tests to ensure product quality and effectiveness of testing.
- Supervise and compile various test metrics, including test schedules, test quality indicators, pass/fail rates of test cases, and the identification of critical, major, and minor issues.
- Create and manage test setups to support testing activities.
- Work effectively in a structured yet agile environment, adhering to product standards.
- Collaborate with software developers to identify test cases and ensure sufficient unit test coverage.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hands-on experience in developing test automation frameworks and setting up test environments.
- Experience in unit testing and integration testing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JScript, JavaScript, Python, VB Script, and/or C.
- Experience in PLC programming with platforms such as Siemens and Rockwell.
- Experience in testing IIoT-based products and systems.
- Expertise in testing communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, and SPI.
- Experience with activities related to obtaining certification for industrial protocols such as ProfNet and Ethernet/IP.
- Working experience with embedded software and analysis equipment, including software protocol analyzers, test boxes, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters.
- Hands-on experience developing LabVIEW applications for automated test environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as GIT, SVN, or RTC.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
- Experience with the IBM Jazz platform is an added advantage.
