Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SEO team in implementing on-page strategies by optimizing website content for search engines.
- Demonstrate curiosity and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to take on and learn new tasks as they arise.
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to work with pivot tables, filters, and VLOOKUP functions.
- Utilize Google Trends to identify relevant and timely topics, and share insights with the content team for article development.
- Stay updated with US sports news, particularly around players and their personal and professional lives, to track important updates.
- Support the SEO team with daily and weekly analysis across various sports by sourcing, cleaning, and performing high-level analysis of data using tools such as MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks and ensure their timely and accurate completion.
- Conduct competitive research across multiple sports sections to identify trends and opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Basic understanding of how websites function and operate.
- Familiarity with Major League Baseball (MLB), Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)/Boxing, the Olympics, and the entertainment industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
