Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement user interfaces that comply with stringent functional safety requirements.
- Execute software development activities, including coding, testing, and integration tasks.
- Conduct thorough peer reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Manage code changes effectively using version control tools.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to validate user interface requirements.
- Identify and debug software issues, including hardware/software integration problems.
- Propose enhancements to address UI inefficiencies and improve overall performance.
- Utilize tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers, and protocol sniffers as required to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform embedded testing to ensure system reliability and functionality.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, IT & Computer, Instrumentation, or M.Sc. in Electronics with a focus on programming.
- Strong programming skills in EDDL, C, or C++.
- 1 to 2 years of prior development experience in a relevant domain.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of industrial digital communication protocols such as 4-20mA, HART, Modbus, Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, USB, and BLE.
- Experience with version control tools like GIT or SVN.
- Familiarity with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of serial communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and CAN.
- Ability to write test cases and perform integration testing.
- Experience collaborating with a global, multi-disciplinary development team.
