Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex business requirements and develop insightful data visualizations and reports to support informed decision-making.
- Perform data transformation and modeling using Power BI Query Editor to prepare data for analysis.
- Create and manage relationships between datasets, and design tabular and multidimensional data models.
- Develop advanced calculations using aggregate, date, logical, string, and table functions.
- Apply industry best practices in designing intuitive and impactful data visualizations.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in data modeling, data preparation/profiling, data integration, and BI applications.
- Utilize Data Gateway for scheduled and on-demand data refreshes.
- Implement row-level security and manage application security layer models within Power BI.
- Use SQL queries effectively, including filters and graphical representations, to enhance data interpretation.
- Troubleshoot Power BI reports by investigating data discrepancies, performing data validation, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Document data processes, algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships to support transparency and maintainability.
