Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers to identify and define the company’s Big Data requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement Hadoop-based systems to meet data processing needs.
- Load diverse data sets and perform data pre-processing using tools such as Spark, Hive, or Pig.
- Define the system’s scope and deliver end-to-end Big Data solutions aligned with business goals.
- Manage communication and data flow between internal systems and external vendors.
- Work closely with software research and development teams to support data-driven projects.
- Develop and maintain cloud-based platforms to support the deployment of company applications.
- Monitor and maintain production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Train and support staff in effective data management practices and tool usage.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Prior experience working as a Big Data Engineer.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Spark, and similar big data frameworks.
- Familiarity with scripting languages is preferred for automation and data processing tasks.
- Solid knowledge of both NoSQL and RDBMS databases, including Redis and MongoDB.
- Experience working with tools such as Mesos, AWS, and Docker for cloud and containerized environments.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data and software-related issues.
