Key Responsibilities:
- Define data requirements and perform tasks related to data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling, visualization, and the development of analytical toolkits and research techniques.
- Examine and identify data patterns and trends to support business decision-making and answer key business questions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and automate data analysis processes.
- Provide actionable data insights to business functions, enabling them to achieve their strategic goals.
- Design and develop data mining architectures, models, protocols, statistical reports, and data analysis methodologies to uncover trends in large datasets.
- Research and apply existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform and support business decisions.
- Represent the organization as a data science expert in industry forums and initiatives.
- At senior levels, lead and conduct scientific research projects aimed at advancing the field of data analytics.
- Design, develop, perform unit testing, and maintain complex Tableau reports that are scalable, manageable, extensible, and optimized for performance and reuse.
- Provide technical expertise in areas of system architecture, report design, and implementation.
- Determine the most effective implementation strategy to align with architectural designs.
- Collaborate with team members to create reports and dashboards that deliver insights, automate processes, and add value to business operations.
- Engage in iterative review cycles to refine deliverables and ensure outcomes meet or exceed user expectations.
- Maintain consistency and code quality by adhering to defined software coding and style guidelines.
- Resolve support tickets and provide maintenance for Tableau reports to ensure continuous functionality.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics solutions.
- Skilled in querying and visualizing large datasets while optimizing workbook performance for efficiency.
- Proficient in interpreting technical dashboard structures and translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Familiar with Tableau administration and architecture principles.
- Possess advanced Tableau development capabilities, including building interactive and dynamic dashboards.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of macros, pivot tables, and advanced functions.
- Strong understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions used in data analysis.
- Solid knowledge of SQL, relational database management systems, and data modeling techniques.
- Experienced in working with Alteryx for data preparation and Python for data analysis and automation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
