Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire, update, and maintain high-quality alternative asset data using internal tools and software platforms.
- Conduct in-depth web-based research to gather data related to firms, funds, and transaction activities within the alternative assets space.
- Input and update Preqin’s databases with critical financial information, statistics, and analysis relied upon by clients.
- Contribute to complex data projects focused on improving data quality, re-engineering processes, and optimizing workflows.
- Develop subject matter expertise to continuously enhance the value and depth of the data offerings provided to clients.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to support the ongoing development and improvement of data products.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering.
- Possess a strong interest in finance with foundational knowledge of financial markets.
- Demonstrate fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have hands-on experience with Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Office 365.
- Show interest and understanding of the alternative assets industry.
- Experience with automation and programming tools such as MS Power Automate, VBA, Python, or SQL.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools including Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
- Prior exposure to project management tasks and stakeholder engagement responsibilities.
