Key Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and enforce data governance policies, including data quality standards, stewardship roles, and lifecycle management.
- Apply industry best practices such as DAMA-DMBOK and COBIT to enhance data management and consistency.
- Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with governance policies and standards.
- Optimize data governance processes to improve efficiency and ensure consistent adoption across teams.
- Lead and participate in data governance initiatives, including process standardization and metadata repository development, collaborating with data owners, data stewards, and business teams to drive governance adoption.
- Maintain clear documentation of data governance policies, workflows, and frameworks while creating reports on governance performance, impact, and compliance for stakeholders.
- Configure and manage Collibra workflows, rules, and policies to support governance initiatives, oversee data cataloging, lineage tracking, and stewardship, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop data quality dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor data health and drive data quality process adoption across the organization.
- Track data lineage and metadata to ensure consistency and integration across systems while supporting data flow mapping and visualization for impact analysis.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK and COBIT, along with regulatory standards including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Experience in data quality management, data stewardship, and metadata management.
- Proficiency in data lineage tracking, process mapping, and governance workflows.
- Hands-on experience with the Collibra Data Governance platform and its integration with ETL tools.
- Expertise in data security best practices, including encryption and access controls.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead data governance initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with API integrations, workflow automation, and enterprise data governance tools.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data processing and quality checks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and their native data tools.
