Key Responsibilities:
- Develop analytic reports, web applications, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Assist the Capitation department at all levels by providing insights into monthly Capitation payments, eligibility, and provider and membership growth.
- Maintain and enhance web applications, dashboards, and reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct high-level and detailed analysis of Capitation data across UnitedHealthcare and Optum.
- Acquire and apply healthcare industry knowledge to extract, analyze, and generate reports for both internal and external clients.
- Analyze Capitation data from multiple sources to identify data integrity issues related to submissions, reconciliation, and provider details.
- Collaborate with staff and customers to develop and enhance processes, documentation, and templates for more accurate and insightful reporting solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL at an intermediate level (required).
- Proficiency in Excel, including Excel Macros, at an intermediate level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access at a beginner to intermediate level.
- Proficiency in at least one web application development tool at an intermediate to advanced level, including but not limited to:
- Flask API
- HTML
- Django
- AngularJS
- Streamlit
- Microsoft Power Platform
- Proficiency in Azure Data Bricks at a beginner to intermediate level.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory at a beginner to intermediate level.
- Proficiency in Python at a beginner to intermediate level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI at a beginner to intermediate level.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Strong communication, time and project management, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
