Key Responsibilities:
- Develop large-scale transaction processing systems that integrate with current and future payment networks.
- Build applications that enable banks to realize the value of modern transaction processing approaches early.
- Assist banks in rapidly delivering the value of these applications to their customers.
- Design and develop highly scalable and secure payment platforms.
- Collaborate with various product teams to gather requirements and enhance platform capabilities.
- Implement advanced cryptographic techniques to secure payments beyond industry standards.
- Analyze and derive actionable insights from terabytes of data.
- Develop low-level infrastructure to optimize network performance.
- Identify recurring patterns and provide scalable solutions to common challenges.
- Research, evaluate, and promote new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance system performance and value.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 1 year of experience in building enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining large-scale Java applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high availability principles.
- Proficiency in working with relational and NoSQL databases, including transaction management.
- Deep focus on optimizing service latency and throughput.
- Expertise in concurrency, synchronization, non-blocking I/O (NIO), memory allocation, and garbage collection (GC).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or OpenStack.
- Familiarity with message brokers and application containers.
