Job summary:
- Collaborate with the professional services team in an Agile development environment to design and deliver software components as directed by the Architect or Delivery Manager.
- Develop container-based microservices, libraries, and features for Resource Adapters (RAs), service templates, and data model updates (Tosca/Netconf/Yang) within the telecom transport domain, including internal testing and validation.
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of new technologies, Blue Planet products, and upcoming software releases through training and self-education.
- Engage in customer discussions to understand requirements, provide clarifications for implementation, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Ability to translate requirements into actionable design documents.
- Technical expertise and experience in Transport Networks, including DWDM, OTN, SONET/SDH, and Ethernet.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu/RHEL) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, OpenStack).
- Experience developing services using Docker or other containerization tools, REST APIs, and microservices architecture within a DevOps-based software development lifecycle.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Camunda workflow management.
- Knowledge of network automation, OSS fulfillment stacks, path computation, and network topology.
- Experience with network modeling frameworks such as TPE-FRE, TMF, or TAPI.
- Proficiency in data and service modeling using TOSCA, JSON Schema, Swagger, and YANG.
- Exposure to distributed high-throughput messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
- Experience in database programming with relational and non-relational/graph databases such as PostgreSQL and Neo4j.
