Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business problems into analytical problems and guide a small team to deliver solutions across multiple businesses or regions.
- Identify business challenges and new opportunities to drive higher business value.
- Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex analytical problems.
- Manage projects end-to-end, including hands-on delivery when required.
- Provide high-quality analysis and strategy recommendations to address business challenges.
- Ensure delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards while driving business benefits through self-initiated projects.
- Develop hypotheses about customer behavior and profitable growth scenarios using a mix of qualitative and quantitative research techniques to identify causes and solutions.
- Implement data-driven analytical approaches to deliver solutions and recommendations that enhance business decisions for lending operations across the customer lifecycle (e.g., acquisition, onboarding, balance growth, engagement deepening, and attrition management) while adhering to UK Consumer Duty and Fair Value principles.
- Prepare clear and concise documentation of data-driven insights and opportunities, supported by analytics and logical reasoning, and present them to stakeholders in a structured manner.
- Support cross-functional and regulatory analytics initiatives based on business demands.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 1–2 years of hands-on analytics experience, preferably within financial services or a related field.
- Proven experience in executing complex analytical approaches to address business problems, preferably in the credit card function.
- Strong understanding of lending portfolio business drivers to perform pro forma financial analysis effectively.
- Proficiency in coding tools such as SAS and SQL, along with analytical tools like MS Excel and PowerPoint, is mandatory.
- Experience with predictive tools and techniques, including decision trees, forecasting methods, and random forests.
- Knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques, such as gradient boosting, is an added advantage.
