Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret data to derive insights and provide actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Develop innovative solutions and contribute to data-driven initiatives across various departments.
- Solve business problems through data analysis, data mining, report generation, and statistical modeling techniques.
- Design and create reports and dashboards for United’s leadership and external stakeholders.
- Communicate insights effectively, structuring findings into clear and professional presentations for team members and project managers.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in the 3rd or 4th year of a graduate program, with availability to work on a 6-month internship.
- Legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze complex data to identify patterns and relationships.
- Experience with database querying tools and the ability to write queries using Teradata SQL and/or Microsoft T-SQL.
- Familiarity with one or more reporting tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Successful completion of an interview to meet job qualifications.
- Reliable and punctual attendance as an essential function of the role.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Economics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or PySpark.
