Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Platform Specialists to obtain detailed business and user requirements that define program objectives.
- Assist in preparing technical requirements documents, including systems flowcharts that illustrate information flow through computer systems and related equipment.
- Support the analysis of business requirements to ensure that the proposed solution aligns with those needs.
- Aid in transforming detailed requirements into a comprehensive systems design document focused on delivering the necessary functionality.
- Contribute to developing detailed technical specifications for implementation by developers or IT Programmers.
- Help document the development process, including application use and security procedures, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing any program errors in logic and data, recommending corrective actions or escalating issues as needed.
- Work with relevant teams to facilitate the installation and deployment of applications.
- Support the preparation and implementation of the solution in a production environment.
- Monitor and support all code and implementations deployed to production, ensuring adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in writing and distributing task descriptions for operating and maintaining the implemented solution in a production environment.
- Perform any additional related tasks as required.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Basic understanding of multi-technology application design best practices.
- Developing ability to take a comprehensive view of application environments, including hardware platforms, applications, databases, operating systems, and storage.
- Growing skills in working with abstract concepts, with solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Fundamental technical knowledge in development and platform engineering.

- Basic knowledge in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Basic understanding of deployment and release management across environments.
- Foundational knowledge of automation tools and source code repositories.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- DevOps certification is preferred.
- Agile-related certification is preferred.
- Certifications in cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) are advantageous.
- Certifications in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby) are preferred.
Required Experience:
- Entry-level experience in Software Development and Support.
- Initial experience in deploying software solutions to clients in an outsourced or similar IT environment.
- Exposure to working in a multi-team environment across multiple geographies.
- Basic experience in programming and development, including Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and KANBAN.
